  • Dr. James Stanger, Speaker
    Dr. James Stanger is the Chief Technology Evangelist at CompTIA. James is a recognised authority in security, open source, and emerging technology with over 20 years of experience as a security consultant, presenter, and curriculum designer. He has worked globally with IT experts, hiring managers, and executives to implement innovative technologies, such as open source, Linux, blockchain, and web technologies. An award-winning author and presenter, James has written for prominent publishers like O'Reilly Media and McGraw-Hill and contributed to journals including Linux Magazine. His certifications and curricula have served leading tech companies like IBM and Symantec.
  • Leonard Wadewitz, Speaker
    Leonard Wadewitz is a Senior Director at CompTIA, responsible for overseeing activities in Latin America and the Caribbean. With over 17 years of experience at CompTIA, he has played a key role in expanding IT skills development programs across the region. Leonard's focus is on promoting CompTIA’s certifications and building networks that support IT education, workforce development, and skill validation. His work involves collaboration with governments, enterprises, and educational programs to foster a skills-first approach to IT development in areas like Brazil, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
  • Dr. Robert W. Robertson, Moderator
    Dr. Robert W. Robertson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the University College of the Cayman Islands (2022-  ); and, he is a Senior Research Fellow, School of Advanced Studies, Commonwealth Institute, University of London (2022-2025). He served as the first President (2016-2022) of the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute; and, he has more than twenty-five years of experience leading award-winning academic institutions in Canada, the United States, Central Asia and the Caribbean. Dr. Robertson has published more than sixty peer-reviewed articles on workforce readiness, international business, quality management and the future of work.
