Dr. Olivia Antos
  • Dr. Olivia Antos, Panellist

    Dr. Olivia Antos is a dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in paediatric orthopaedic conditions, complex trauma, and surgical management of musculoskeletal disorders in children. She trained in South Africa and completed a prestigious trauma fellowship at the University of Alberta, refining her skills alongside some of the world's leading surgeons. A passionate educator, Dr. Antos is an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) instructor, committed to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. She takes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, ensuring families are empowered with knowledge and treatment options. Outside of medicine, Dr. Antos is a devoted mother of three, an enthusiastic traveller, and a proud resident of Grand Cayman.

Dr. Nabil Khan

  • Dr. Nabil Khan, Panellist

    Dr. Nabil Khan is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a passion for sports-related knee and shoulder injuries. After rigorous orthopaedic training in a high-output trauma unit, he pursued sub-specialty training in shoulder and knee surgery at the renowned Rosebank Sports and Arthroplasty Clinic in South Africa and the Glen Sather Sports and Surgical Unit at the University of Alberta, Canada. Dr. Khan is also a leader in stem cell therapy and alternative treatments for joint pathologies, pioneering innovative approaches to patient care. Known for his compassionate approach and collaborative mindset, he works closely with fellow orthopaedic specialists to provide holistic, patient-centred care. Outside the operating room, he is an avid soccer and rugby fan and enjoys spending time with his family in Grand Cayman.

Dr. Pekko Kuusela

  • Dr. Pekko Kuusela, Panellist

    Dr. Pekko Kuusela is a highly skilled Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 17 years of expertise in orthopaedics and traumatology. A graduate of Tampere University in Finland, he has honed his surgical precision across world-class healthcare systems in Finland, the UK, Australia, Dubai (UAE), and the Cayman Islands. Dr. Kuusela specialises in advanced joint replacement surgeries, including Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) and Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA), while also performing a wide range of general orthopaedic and trauma procedures. Committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements, he leverages cutting-edge diagnostic methods to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Dr. Alison Beadsworth

  • Dr. Alison Beadsworth, Moderator
    Dr. Alison Beadsworth is a seasoned Consultant in Emergency Medicine with a career spanning the UK, Qatar, and global humanitarian missions. A graduate of Imperial College London, she is a Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and brings decades of frontline experience in high-pressure emergency care settings. Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Beadsworth is a passionate humanitarian, having co-founded the UK charity Children on the Edge and worked extensively with international relief organisations. She has provided emergency medical aid in crisis zones, including Romania, Tanzania, and Ukraine, earning the prestigious William Rutherford International Award from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. Driven by a commitment to both local and global health, she continues to make a profound impact in emergency medicine and disaster response.
