- Richard Munden, Moderator
Richard Munden is a Partner at Carey Olsen. Richard joined Carey Olsen in 2018 after ten years with Walkers in the Cayman Islands, where he developed the asset finance and fund finance practice. Richard advises clients on a wide range of corporate and finance transactions and regulatory matters. He has deep experience of advising on setting up Cayman Islands entities and structures, cross-border transactions, debt capital market transactions, and joint venture and shareholder arrangements. He works for a broad range of clients in the rapidly growing digital assets, DEFI and blockchain sector, advising on structures for investing in digital assets and on the regulation of digital assets, exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers and coin and token issuances.
- Petri Basson, Speaker
Petri Basson is the founder of Hash Direct Ltd, a digital asset governance firm in the Cayman Islands and BVI. He also co-founded Lemma DAO services and Provenance compliance, both focused on servicing the digital asset industry. Petri has extensive experience in both finance and IT, holding qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He currently sits as the chairman of the Blockchain Association of the Cayman Islands (BACI) as well as Crypto Currency Security Standard (CCSS) and was previously a Director at KPMG in the Cayman Islands and helped to establish the KPMG Cayman Islands digital asset practice.
- Mike Silagadze, Speaker
Mike Silagadze is the founder and CEO of ether.fi, the first decentralised, delegated staking protocol that allows stakers to maintain full control of their keys – and by extension, their staked ETH – throughout the entire staking process. Prior to founding ether.fi, Mike was CEO and co-founder of Top Hat, where he grew into the market leader in student engagement software, with 500 employees and $60 million in annual revenue. He is also an active speaker and lecturer in the higher education, technology, and startup communities, having lectured at the Rotman Commerce Entrepreneurship Organization, the ASU GSV Summit, MaRS, Tech Fest Toronto, SAAS North, and TEDxLaurierUniversity, among many others.

Lais Strassburger is a Blockchain and Web 3 Consultant at RSM Cayman. Lais has extensive experience in managing decentralized projects and financial services. With over 10 years of professional experience in Brazil, the United States, and the Cayman Islands, she combines a strong background in banking, corporate governance, and investment management with expertise in regulatory compliance, blockchain, and Web 3. Lais has a proven track record in launching companies and projects, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing prominent DAOs.
