Samuel Jacques-Cloutier has 19 years of banking and policy experience with a recent interest in digital cryptographic innovations. Having worked on the policy development side of regulation and AML/CFT oversight, he has a deep interest in ensuring the right to privacy remains a core pillar of modern digital society. He recently contributed to the working group on Privacy and Law Enforcement for the Consensus 2023 report and seeks to continue this important discussion locally.
Vaughan Carter is a lawyer and an educator. His specialist public law practice at Savannah Law covers all aspects of human rights and his academic work in this area has been cited in courts both locally and internationally. In 2003, Vaughan was a founding member of the first Human Rights Committee in the Cayman Islands, and he currently serves as the Chair of the Cayman Islands Constitutional Commission, a Law Reform Commissioner, and a Member of the Gender Equality Tribunal.
David Manouchehri is a Director at ai.moda. David received his diploma in 2014 in Electro-Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) Technician at Algonquin College. He previously worked for the Department of National Defence of Canada, and worked as self-employed security analyst for 4 years before founding ai.moda.
Polly Pickering is a managing director at eShore Ltd. Polly is a SaaS & Cyber Security enthusiast, Digital Cayman Director supporting technology solutions for Financial Services, FinTech development, BCP /DR clients. Polly’s focus has been AML and offshore compliance with an emphasis on data jurisdiction considerations relating to various ‘rules of law’. She now has over two decades of service and technology consulting as Managing Director eShore, based in the Cayman Islands & working with 300+ Caribbean offshore & LATAM businesses.
