About the Company: New Frontier Data (Website)
Location: Cayman Enterprise City, George Town, Grand Cayman

Duration: 10–12 weeks (June–August 2025)
Compensation: Paid Internship
Eligibility: Undergraduate and Graduate Students (STEM fields preferred)

New Frontier Data is launching a Summer 2025 internship opportunity for talented students and early-career professionals interested in data science, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Interns will work on real-world, challenge-based projects using one of the most comprehensive consumer and location datasets in the United States.

The internship is designed to give participants valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, data-driven organization focused on helping mature retail industries leverage big data and advanced analytics.
 
Internship Objectives
  • Offer a meaningful and structured work experience for emerging professionals.
  • Provide mentorship and skills development in data science, AI, and location analytics.
  • Contribute to real-world projects involving large-scale consumer datasets.
  • Identify and develop potential long-term team members.
What Interns Will Do
  • Assist in organizing, categorizing, and enriching large datasets.
  • Support data quality initiatives and AI model training efforts.
  • Analyse location and behaviour-based datasets to uncover insights.
  • Collaborate with experienced data scientists and engineers.
  • Present key findings and deliverables to internal stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Exposure to Jupyter Notebooks, data visualization, or ML frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams on time-sensitive projects.
  • Interest in business intelligence, analytics, and consumer behaviour.
