Enterprise Cayman Welcomes Applicants for 2025 Summer Internship Programme
2024 Interns at Cayman Enterprise City's Networking Event
Enterprise Cayman is inviting young Caymanians to apply for the annual Internship Programme and explore knowledge-based career paths.
Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (17 February 2025) – Enterprise Cayman is accepting applications for its annual Internship Programme. The internship programme, now in its 13th year, offers Caymanians between the ages of 18 and 25 years the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with global businesses operating within the Cayman Enterprise City (CEC) Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
The internship programme is helping jobseekers to position themselves for new high-growth careers in various fields, including software development, digital marketing, project management, virtual assets, and MedTech amongst others. Alexander Havlin, a former research and development intern at BitFashioned SEZC, reflected on his experience,
“My internship helped me identify areas for growth while exposing me to new career possibilities in tech. The hands-on learning experience gave me clarity and confidence in my professional career path.”
Over a 2-3-month period, participants will engage in real-world projects, collaborate with global teams, and build valuable professional networks. Many past interns have successfully transitioned into full-time roles within Cayman Enterprise City’s SEZs, making this an exceptional opportunity for career development. “Cayman Enterprise City is home to 380 special economic zone companies,” said Alyssa Manderson, Enterprise Cayman Senior Programme & Events Coordinator. “The vibrant business community is the perfect platform for young Caymanians to embark on new and innovative careers. Interns, and those that apply to the Enterprise Cayman internship programme, will have the opportunity to participate in networking events, workshops, and dynamic learning opportunities in Cayman’s special economic zones. We encourage everyone that qualifies to apply.”
New to 2025, and in honour of the late Jack Copper, Enterprise Cayman announced the launch of the “Jack Copper Technology Internship”. This 2–3-month internship placement, hosted by the CEC Information Technology Department, has been established in memory of Jack Copper, a beloved and active member of the CEC community who made a lasting impact on the Cayman Islands' tech and innovation sectors. Jack was a dedicated community participant, known for his thoughtful contributions and commitment to fostering growth in the community. Offered annually, the Jack Copper Technology Internship will serve as a tribute to Jack’s legacy, helping to nurture the next generation of tech professionals in the Cayman Islands.
